Rene Marie Russo, an American film director and actress who was a former supermodel is also a director of films. Her elegant beauty and her accomplishments in the world of film reflect her talents as an actor. Modeling began in the 1970s. Soon, she became one of the best models. Following her studies in acting Russo embarked on a modeling career working in Los Angeles. Russo first made her television debut in ABCs Sable in the role of Eden Kendell, in 1987. She played Tom Berengers' love interest two years later on Major League, her debut movie. Critics, initially skeptical by her acting abilities however, eventually became convinced when they saw her constant performances. Her role in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak was particularly admired by reviewers, since she stood in the way of Dustin Hoffman or Morgan Freeman. According to her, she didn't have a love for acting. In 2005, she took a long self-imposed break. Then, she made her return with Thor. Also, she was in the Oscar winning film Nightcrawler which was which was directed by her husband. Rose Namajunas, one of the UFC's most popular female athletes, is an accomplished athlete. Her career began in amateur fighting, participating in regional competitions before registering to Invicta Fighting Championships and later joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). After joining the UFC, she has been a household name thanks to her success inside and outside of the Octagon. Namajunas's family are Lithuanian who was born there on the 29th June, 1992. Rose participated in sports such as basketball and kickboxing while growing older. Invicta Fighting Championships took her on her at age 18 and she went on to win 2 fights via submission. Dana White took notice of her performance and had her admitted to the UFC's strawweight class at the end of December 2014, when she was barely 22.
